The model in the following images depicts a space inspired by a sketch that demonstrates 'billowing' space, and a staircase to accompany it. The staircase is descending down from what is suppose to be the 'above' space.
The stairs are glass treads suspended by wires from the floor above. The wires are angled outward to draw you you into the staircase and the up to the space above.
